Linear Algebra and Optimization

Teaching Assistant | L2 Economics | Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne | 2025-2026 | 36h / year

This course introduces students to the fundamental tools of linear algebra used in economics. We cover the resolution of linear systems using Gaussian elimination, matrix operations and the notion of rank, vector spaces and their properties (linear independence, bases, dimension), linear applications and their representations, and the computation of determinants.

Introduction to Econometrics

Teaching Assistant | L3 Economics | Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne | 2025-2026 | 24h / year

This course provides an introduction to econometric methods for empirical analysis. Students learn to estimate simple and multiple linear regression models using ordinary least squares, conduct hypothesis tests and construct confidence intervals, interpret the coefficient of determination and assess model fit, address practical issues such as multicollinearity and autocorrelation, and apply model selection criteria.
